SWTOR "win trading" ruse has been running rampant by stealth in the game, even though there were tons of patches, reports and exceptional measure conducted to prevent. However, the developers of SWTOR from BioWare already made a decision to crack down upon all the cheats and abuses of exploits in the game once for all. It's well explained in the public letter written by a Live Producer of the game named Mike Bradley.
In this Letter, Mike Bradley elaborates on what kinds of behaviour in the game can be considered as "win trading" and the roots that these cheats still function blatantly and rampantly. The member from SWTOR senior management personally concludes from the status quo of the game and feedback from players that the current anti-cheating system the game implemented is defective and "lack of clarity on our behalf into how we punish individuals" caused the widely-existing frustrations from the community.
The letter later made a commitment to making more efforts to feedback gathering, in-game illicit manipulation penalization and more transparencies on development. Knowing the cheaters' functioning process and the rants from the community all the time, the Producer Mike seemingly intends to suggest that nonresponse to these rants and indulging the cheaters are not an oversight or appeasement, instead, they have been working on any imperative means to protect the fairness in the game and eradicate the cheaters.
Alongside the pledges against cheats and manipulators, the letter also reveals that big scale actions and resets already were finalized on March 1st and would be deployed to the game during Season 11. Players should expect and hold their beliefs on more improvements and changes brought on the next Season and frankly speaking, what else could they do about?
SWTOR developers also published a post about March "Bounty Contract Week" and "Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine events", to view more details, here is the full contents of this post.
