Mar. 14th Path Of Exile Patch: What Can We Expect From This Synthesis League First Post-Release Update?

Allegedly, Path of Exile plans on launching the first patch to address some admittedly hot issues after the Synthesis league went live. Some issues were claimed to "negatively affect" players or be rampantly abused by the ones with ulterior motives.  There is obviously a list of issues waiting to be addressed yet most of them are still swept under the carpet. One can be confirmed is Watcher's Eye, the unique Jewel in the game which can only drop from The Tier 6 maps or higher if the Sharper lives. Based on the developer's story, one of the modifiers that exclusively applies to this Jewel has its parameter excessively enhanced so that this item, Watcher's Eye is "more powerful than intended".  The parameter, which is "30" in the "30% increased Maximum total Recovery per second from Energy Shield Leech while affected by Zealotry" modifier as was originally designed, moved up to "180" after the Synthesis league release ...

Path Of Exile Feb. 21 Development Manifesto: Converting Betrayal League Into A Core Game Mechanic

As the first announcement of the game's next league went live, Grinding Gear Games has managed to unveil its reputedly great plan of integrating Betrayal Expansion into the core game mechanic in Path of Exile based on the announcement. Although it barely mentioned how this integration works and what will happen after the integration, the announcement seemed to be off to a great start and now the bombshell comes - Development Manifesto from Grinding Gear Games!  As a matter of fact, the Betrayal League still concerns the most of Path of Exile gamers, even though it's been told to be succeeded by Synthesis League in next month. Today's Development Manifesto is sort of a further explanation and declaration of the original statement "an integrated version of the Betrayal league and much, much more" in the Synthesis league announcement. Although turns out, players are not so exhilarated and contented for this Manifesto as they heard the news from the original...

Fair Fight System In MapleStory 2: It Brings The Fairness To Whom Actually?

Fair Fight System/Mechanism might not sound strange and newfangled to most of gamers who have been spending so much time in a variety of video games. It is a design that specifically applies for nerfing the "strongest gang" in certain scenarios in some games - that those people admittedly have more powerful gear and equipment than the rest, especially most of newcomers. Mostly, The original intention of establishing a system like this is not to cater to new gamers or deliberately being a disincentive for those high-level players to stealing the show. For most game publishers, what they want to do with this system is trying to bring into athletics genes to games, which will resemble competitive sports more than fashion shows after implanting that. We are here not to argue about how this system works or features in a variety of games. Instead, this system seems not such a hit as it showed up in all publicity - at least in some games, it becomes quite controve...

FIFA 19: New Patch Nerfs AI Defending And Satisfies Players' Needs

EA has launched a patch for FIFA 19 that insert into the game perhaps the most desired nerf from the community. The title update decreases the effectiveness of defending by AI teammates. As most FIFA players reach an agreement on propelling the computer into the dirty work of defending is much more effective than getting stuck in yourself, this update is widely welcome and praised by players. Also, this update will be a huge help to suppress and defeat stubborn computer-controlled teams in the likes of Squad Battles. Before Title Update After Title Update Here's what the patch works: The core of this update is partially whittling down the motor functions of AI teammates. The shot blocking of a defender that's being controlled by an AI teammate is less effective as EA has decreased the distance an  AI teammate defender will stretch to block a shot. Likewise, EA has nerfed AI teammate tacking by reducing the distance they'll stretch when making a tackle. ...

Nerf Is Making Fortnite Guns

Battle Royale is coming to your backyard. Epic Games is teaming up with toymaker Nerf to bring the guns of Fortnite into the real world. On Instagram, the official Nerf account posted an image reading “Fortnite X Nerf” and added, “Who’s ready to add some gold to their loadout?” The partnership raises the question about which of Fortnite’s guns, rockets launchers and other weapons are suitable for the Nerf blaster treatment. While Fortnite has a cartoonish style that downplays violence, many of its guns are modelled after real-world weapons. The game’s more toylike weapons, like the tactical shotgun, guided missile and Grappler, feel much more Nerf-appropriate. It’s not clear when Nerf’s Fortnite line will hit stores, or which Nerf sub-brand the game will be a part of. Nerf will launch its other video game line, based on Blizzard’s Overwatch, in 2019 with blasters based on characters Reaper and D.Va. View this post on Instagram ...
