The next content update for Forza Horizon 4 has been detailed by its developer, Playground Games, and the big attention point is the multiplayer aspect of the game. Besides an all-new game mode to enjoy, there will be fixes to the existing experience which will make a pretty important improvement to everyone's online fun. Update 8 is being known as the Drift Adventure update, in honour of the new multiplayer game mode being added. Drift Adventure is the first multiplayer mode in Forza Horizon 4 dedicated entirely to the art of going sideways, as you compete against other players in pursuit of the best single lap drift score. In conjunction with this a new drift camera view is being added — a similar one has recently made it into Forza Motorsport 7 — that angles the camera to better work with the additional sideways motions of drifting. Playground Games has added another achievement to its trophy case. Last night at the annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards, it picked up the win for Best British Game for Forza Horizon 4. The win comes on the back of previous accolades for the open-world racer. It wrapped up 2018 with a win at the Game Awards and followed up in February of this year at the DICE Awards. Both of those were for sports and racing games though, whereas last night’s win was a more general category. The British Game of the Year competition included titles made by — you guessed it — British studios. We are not fans of Forza Horizon 4’s Festival Playlist, introduced in Series 7. However, after a backlash from the community, it looks like Playground Games is exploring a patch to make it more palatable. The question remains though, is it enough to fix it? According to the Forza Week in Review for March 22, the new patch will lower the 100% completion reward to just 80%. Sounds great right? Well, it still poses a problem and continues to force players to play the way PG wants you to play. In order to get an 80% completion, you still need to participate in multiplayer events. Microsoft gave us a live demonstration of its Project xCloud game streaming service Tuesday, showing Forza Horizon 4 being played on an Android phone. Conveniently, the Inside Xbox video came a week before Google is expected to reveal its game-streaming service at Game Developers Conference (GDC) and days after Sony brought PS4 Remote Play to iPhone and iPad. Microsoft's video shows Kareem Choudhry, Microsoft's corporate vice president of cloud gaming, letting presenter Julia Hardy play the open world racing game as it's streamed to a phone, using an Xbox One controller connected via Bluetooth. "We're developing Project xCloud not as a replacement for game consoles, but as a way to provide the same choice and versatility that lovers of music and video enjoy today," Choudhry wrote in an accompanying blog post. In the March edition of Forza Monthly, we got the lowdown on what’s coming up with Series 7 in Forza Horizon 4. With the commitment of a whole mass of new cars, it looks like Playground Games will offer up plenty of shiny metal to fill the newly expanded garage. The one takes the lead of the crew is the brand new 2019 BMW Z4, which is the sibling car to the new Toyota Supra. Unfortunately, a seeming exclusive deal with Gran Turismo Sport, the Supra itself won’t pull out of the deal and switch into Forza Horizon. A few days ago, Playground Games, the developer of Forza Horizon 4,  has removed "Carlton" and "Floss" dances from this prestigious open-world racing game. The studio released an update earlier today that contains a batch of improvements and new contents. But this patch would also be a quick fix that manages to help the developer Playground Games and its parent firm & the game's publisher Microsoft Studios get rid of an upcoming lawsuit by removing the Carlton, and Floss dance emotes that in-game characters were able to perform previously between races.  Hip Hop artist 2 Milly sued Fortnite developer Epic Games in December 2018 for cribbing original dance moves from him. Microsoft Studios, as the publisher of Forza Horizon 4,  has announced its first expansion called Fortune Island would be downloadable and accessible on December 13, 2018. The background of this DLC is set up to be an island in the "remote Northern reaches of the British Isles," where you'll take your rides on dangerous clifftop roads and mountain passes.
