What Good News Nexon Brought Us In The MapleStory Week 10

Just like the previous time Nexon's announcements had provoked plenty of debates and discussions among the MapleStory 2 players, this time, the company released its purported "last producer blog of 2018 about MapleStory 2", which revealed a host of details that are involved with MapleStory 2 Devs team' ongoing plans, aspirations for next year, as well as some "construction failures". The whole blog began with a genuine apology for the unexpected misunderstanding towards "Holiday Bonus Giveaway" from a group of Maplers. The apology was a great opening, though, it didn't concern anything new from MapleStory 2 devs team. The second part of this blog, which would be generally considered as "plot twist", updated the top priority for MapleStory 2 devs is to cope with "random aspects of progression combined with the content cap", in order to provide all players who devote a different periods of time to the game with correspon...

Pay-To-Win Design: Has MapleStory 2 Been Beyond Cure Already?

Many Maplers might have considered themselves stuck in the middle of a swamp that Nexon had inflicted on MapleStory 2. The only foreseeable consequence of this design occurrence ...

Server Transfer In MapleStory 2: Is It A Little Bit Too Early To Implement or A Desperate Call-To-Action Right Now?

Unlike any other games in the world, MapleStory 2 is rolling through the path that will have no intention of helping players socialize and bond with each other when facing to the reality that the world is getting smaller under advanced means of communication, even in the game.  There is no doubt that MapleStory 2 has done much better than MapleStory in so many ways, including customization contests, 3D graphics, exquisite anime style and so on. But an inconvenient truth is both the predecessor and the sequel is running under the same archaic server system which would never allow the tweaks like transferring players' character from the current server to another one come true. The recent clues to reveal this rigescent system is Nexon's attempts to deploy account-binding regulations for owners of Crystal Fragments, Chaos Onyx Crystals or Onyx Crystals. No one knows if there are more possessions or rewards in the future will be incorporated into those regulations. But...
