A New Title Called "Path of Warframe" Is Emerged From The Darkness On April 1st

Path of Exile is holding an April Fool's event today while some players subjectively presumed it was going to be a Game-coming-to-mobile-devices prankish news broadcast before. However, it turns out to be a different-genres-blended-together joking fest.  It all started with the imaginary game expansion called "Path of Warframe: The Quest for the average neck" - which according to the news anchor "Rebekah" Bex, is one of all expansions from a first-person top-down Action RPG hack-n-shooter genre. Not only sounds the goofy name hilarious and quite intriguing, but it also rolls in the aisles when Bex explains in a funny way. What is this so-called "merged-from-two-games-from-different-genres crossover" for? what is the content this expansion showing up for? Bex explained that the game has a complex gameplay mechanic that doesn't nothing but reward the players with loots, items, treasure, currency(like POE Orbs ), and microtransactions. And the ...

As for Asia, Russia, Australia, and some other regions, it won't show up and be purchasable until developers work that out someday.  About one day ago, Path of Exile official website released a post about answering all sorts of questions related to this PS4 roll-out. Based on what we gathered from this post, a number of avid players who happen to possess both PC and a PS4 console wouldn't be exhilarated by the information from this post that openly declared the cross-platform account connectivity,...

Path of Exile Is Coming To Korea In Later 2019

According to an official post published earlier on Mar 20th, Grinding Gear Games in cooperation with a South Korea game company Kakao Games would bring Path of Exile to Korea. Now the building of a Korean version is in the phase of forging a new gateway of the main Path of Exile realm. Soon, it will be moving to finishing touches. This Korean Version would be the third Asia version of Path of Exile following Southeast Version agented by Garena from 2014, and Chinese Version agented by Tencent from 2016. By convention, we would presume that Kakao Games will run Korean Version for GGG and becomes the only agent of this game. However, when it comes to the other roles that Kakao Games possibly plays, for instance, developing and updating the game as requested, we can't be sure enough to draw a conclusion on that.  It is, however, a big surprise for all Korean players rooted for this game for years. With a Korean version of Path of Exile built, The barrier to reading, communicat...

Mar. 14th Path Of Exile Patch: What Can We Expect From This Synthesis League First Post-Release Update?

Allegedly, Path of Exile plans on launching the first patch to address some admittedly hot issues after the Synthesis league went live. Some issues were claimed to "negatively affect" players or be rampantly abused by the ones with ulterior motives.  There is obviously a list of issues waiting to be addressed yet most of them are still swept under the carpet. One can be confirmed is Watcher's Eye, the unique Jewel in the game which can only drop from The Tier 6 maps or higher if the Sharper lives. Based on the developer's story, one of the modifiers that exclusively applies to this Jewel has its parameter excessively enhanced so that this item, Watcher's Eye is "more powerful than intended".  The parameter, which is "30" in the "30% increased Maximum total Recovery per second from Energy Shield Leech while affected by Zealotry" modifier as was originally designed, moved up to "180" after the Synthesis league release ...

Path Of Exile PlayStation 4 Will Go Alive In Late March

A piece of breaking news just burst out from Path of Exile official forum, saying that the game, including its newest expansion, will come to PlayStation 4 on March 26th(PDT), exactly two weeks from now. It is more than three months now after Grinding Gear Games announced the PS4 Release plan the first time. Since then, thousands of PS4 users and diehard fans have been waiting for this moment, as well as following through any updates of this. But Reflecting on the game company's performance, things have been nearly patchy. The game developers, in the past three months, deliberately postponed the PS4 release more than once. leaving a multitude of the audiences disheartened and raged. Allegedly, in December of 2018, there are some crucial issues and obstacles ahead of the program's development where needs more time and energy to tackle. However, in next month, game developers patched that up and the main structure was completed, still, a period of time has been claimed to be ...

Updates On Path Of Exile New Synthesis League: Reasonably Satisfying Yet With Some Room For Improvements

It's been 3 days after Path of Exile: Synthesis league first released on PC on March 8th, also, less than 12 hours before the same content goes live on Xbox One. Some of the gamers who didn't really catch up on the major update and still hope to get involved must wonder if the new Synthesis league is worth playing or not. Here are some facts we 've collected and clarified for sure that might help with that situation. So far, Synthesis league made impressive progress on players' engagement and likability. Based on the Steam Chart and official statistics, the peak player concurrency of the game was 176,700 in last three days, which remarkably set the second largest record in this game's history. "It was an inspiring record indeed, " a veteran Path of Exile player named Todd told to our reporter, "however, given that the number one position was made by its last instalment - Betrayal league, and the present league still looks weaker in number. It is...

Path Of Exile Synthesis League Is Around The Corner: Not So Ideal For Xbox One Users

At this moment, we can clearly see there are less than 14 hours still left to roll out the Synthesis league officially through the countdown timer on the official site. It's a prominent incident for all Path of Exile fans at the beginning of 2019, and keep in mind that there are a lot of juicy contents waiting ahead the rest of this year. Although it's rather crucial and breathtaking, on the other hand, not so hyped and crazy about for Xbox owners as they find themselves stuck in a jam. In the latest announcement from Grinding Gear Games, not only is the Xbox version of new update arranged to release three days after the PC version, but the update would also require a redownload of the whole game file for every Xbox One device. It's estimated that the redownload features the size of 10GB in the Xbox One consoles and at least 20 minutes to complete that before accessing, assuming that your network has the theoretically largest bandwidth.  Based on the official explan...

Path Of Exile Synthesis League Exclusive Challenge Rewards: Wings, Helmet and Pets

Earlier today in the morning, Path of Exile unveiled three unique microtransaction rewards that will be deployed to the 12th, 24th, and 36th challenges in the upcoming Synthesis league for every player who will take part in the challenges. There is an attached video in the post showing what these prizes look like. The helmet called Synthesis Crown, which will be the first prize after completing 12 challenges, looks more like a golden tiara and seems perfect for female-figure characters. The crown is inlaid with a giant sapphire and therefore demonstrates the quality of rarity and luxury.  The second prize is a pet that can be earned by finishing 24 challenges in Synthesis league. This pet, which absolutely is proved not to have any trace of existing animals' figures, is a total lackey that is compounded between technology and fantasy. This pet is ball-shaped and sort of floating in the air around you once it becomes your underling. Of course, like any else pets in history,...

Path Of Exile: The Next Week Synthesis-Related Schedule Is Unveiled

As everyone who plays Path of Exile probably is informed of the upcoming Synthesis league of this game, it feels less imperative to ring a bell that this new league will go live in one week on PC and twelve days after on Xbox One. Also, for some diehard fans of the Betrayal league, it's really painful enough to bring this up, however, walking into the grand finale at this moment, this league will bow out of Path of Exile on March 1st as scheduled.  No need to feel sorry for the Betrayal, it's officially confirmed that the Betrayal League will have been integrated into the core game as sustained existing content since the release of the Synthesis league. The specifics of this integration was well-explained in the last Development Manifesto , written and published by the developers of Path of Exile, these manifestos are always regarded as the resolutions and blueprints of major upcoming developments in this game.   Today, we will unveil the next-week announ...

The Soundtracks Improvements For The Synthesis League: A Banal Creation From Mediocrities?

Path of Exile unveiled more details regarding the soundtrack improvements and add-ons in the next Synthesis League on the official announcement. Some in-game areas will have different ambient soundtracks from the ones used for now while a few soundtracks of others have been remastered and will have been added in the game in on time.  There is a presentation video of these upcoming soundtracks of Path of Exile areas from the next Synthesis League on Youtube. However, the players' reaction towards these changes didn't reach a consensus. Some of the viewers said these improvements are "worthy in time" while a few couldn't pass over the "mediocrity" and "incongruity" these changes brought to the game. Well, some others even explicitly acknowledged that none of the soundtracks or their up and downs whatsoever mattered so much to them cause they have their "own things". Although criticism towards some aspects of the update seemingl...

New Skills In The Next Synthesis League Of Path Of Exile: Soulrend And Bane

Path of Exile has officially revealed that there would be two new skills added into the game along with the release of the Synthesis League in the next month. Named after Soulrend and Bane respectively, the two skills cast and function in different ways, as well as with the result that damage durations and damage areas.  Soulrend is a projectile skill that weaves through enemies and works perfectly for the enemies in the middle or long distance from the caster. Meanwhile, when the skill hit any enemies, it immediately bounces through them into their vicinal ones. The projectile travels through the enemies with medium-sized-radius damage over time effect. The damage over time effect of Soulrend skill is largely appreciable, however, the duration of this effect is quite short.  Enemies hit by Soulrend takes a handful of damages while the skill can grant a large amount of Energy Shield Leech to casters. Although Designed to be an independently-used skill, Soulrend can als...

New Forms Of Private League And A Firm Date Of The PS4 Version: Solace Isn't A Cure

Path of Exile declared a new patch would release before the Synthesis League goes live. The upcoming patch is presumably the last one of the Betrayal League. Also, it may be a blend of the warm-up round for next league and the last "tie-up-the-loose-ends" work. And that's very typical and commonly acknowledged for the game's development patterns, considering it's already happened to several predecessors.  The patch, or should call 3.5.4b patch to be precise, has very limited contents yet extremely crucial cause each of them is hard to be overlooked. In this patch, the game determined to open up the entry to build private leagues based on the Synthesis league for all Path of Exile Gamers, however, note that those private leagues will not be accessible and functional until the Synthesis goes live on March 8th.  The Private League is quite a hit in Path of Exile since it has been rolled out back in November 2018. Private League is the sign of the utmost custom...

Path Of Exile Feb. 21 Development Manifesto: Converting Betrayal League Into A Core Game Mechanic

As the first announcement of the game's next league went live, Grinding Gear Games has managed to unveil its reputedly great plan of integrating Betrayal Expansion into the core game mechanic in Path of Exile based on the announcement. Although it barely mentioned how this integration works and what will happen after the integration, the announcement seemed to be off to a great start and now the bombshell comes - Development Manifesto from Grinding Gear Games!  As a matter of fact, the Betrayal League still concerns the most of Path of Exile gamers, even though it's been told to be succeeded by Synthesis League in next month. Today's Development Manifesto is sort of a further explanation and declaration of the original statement "an integrated version of the Betrayal league and much, much more" in the Synthesis league announcement. Although turns out, players are not so exhilarated and contented for this Manifesto as they heard the news from the original...

Path Of Exile Spellcasting Overhaul Part One: Two New Auras Will Be Added In The Game Along With The New Synthesis League

Alongside the release of the Synthesis League on March 8th, there are some attached new contents will be deployed to Path of Exile too. Among these improvements, one particularly intriguing element is the spellcasting overhaul. It's believed that there haven't been any major updates of spellcasting in the game since the Delve league had launched back in 2018. So this overhaul is sort of the long-awaited improvement for the Path of Exile players.  Earlier today, Grinding Gear Games posted its first batch of unveiled specifics regarding the spells overhaul. Two upcoming new Auras called Zealotry and Malevolence respectively will be introduced to the game in March Update. The Auras are subject to the debuff/buff system and also function as a spellcasting reinforcer. It means that any in-game Auras are the items that can enhance the spell damages more or less in their own ways. Also, as its name implies, it usually shows up with a round shape, a certain radius which c...

Now, there is an auto timer in the middle spot of this announcement to count down the rest of days, hours and minutes to finally release the Synthesis League. Path of Exile: Turning The Looter Genre On Its Head

It’s the season of looters, in case you haven’t heard. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will offer New Game Plus and its Fate of Atlantis DLC in the coming days, further bolstering its smorgasbord of action RPG content. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 from Ubisoft Massive will look to continue the success of the original while introducing new concepts and ideas (while also fixing a number of bugs present in the private beta). BioWare’s Anthem has been dominating headlines for the better part of last month, either because of its cosmetic microtransactions or whether the full game will be “worth” getting into. Heck, even Destiny 2 should have an announcement about its next “premium content release” Joker’s Wild very soon. In these constant conversations about monetization and value for money, whether on-going support and new content justifies RNG loot boxes, which game will the “hot” new thing for players to waste their lives on and whatnot, there’s a curious free to play action RPG that continues...
