Path Of Exile Spellcasting Overhaul Part One: Two New Auras Will Be Added In The Game Along With The New Synthesis League

Alongside the release of the Synthesis League on March 8th, there are some attached new contents will be deployed to Path of Exile too. Among these improvements, one particularly intriguing element is the spellcasting overhaul. It's believed that there haven't been any major updates of spellcasting in the game since the Delve league had launched back in 2018. So this overhaul is sort of the long-awaited improvement for the Path of Exile players.

Earlier today, Grinding Gear Games posted its first batch of unveiled specifics regarding the spells overhaul. Two upcoming new Auras called Zealotry and Malevolence respectively will be introduced to the game in March Update. The Auras are subject to the debuff/buff system and also function as a spellcasting reinforcer. It means that any in-game Auras are the items that can enhance the spell damages more or less in their own ways. Also, as its name implies, it usually shows up with a round shape, a certain radius which centres on the caster.

The Zealotry Aura is a new holy themed aura that provides more spell damage, a small increase to spell critical chance, and a chance to create Consecrated Ground on hitting a rare or unique enemy. As Consecrated Ground now increases the chance to be critically hit on enemies within it, this further increases your critical chance. The aura works well with the improved Inquisitor Ascendancy, which has some new effects for Consecrated Ground like letting the Consecrated Ground continue to apply its effects for a few seconds after you, allies or enemies leave its zone.

The Malevolence Aura is a new arcane themed aura that provides more damage over time, and a small bonus to skill effect duration. It works best with chaos skills like the new Soulrend spell, but the damage bonus affects all damage over time effects like Scorching Ray, damaging ailments like Ignite and Poison, and cold damage over time abilities like Arctic Breath.

Meanwhile, some adjustments to Auras like Anger and Hatred are scheduled to deploy in the game too. The damage bonus of Anger, as well as the Cold Damage from Hatred, will be boosted and enhanced with various degree respectively.

Unfortunately, even though mentioned in the very beginning of the post, the more specifics of "a number of new damage spells" were failed to be exposed cause the post seemed to deliberately break off this further discussion. We highly presume that the proper introduction of these upcoming damage spells will be the main topic of the next official announcement.

Whatever the next post is all about, we are keen to follow through all the news and further stories about Path of Exile and its upcoming Synthesis League anytime.

MapleStory 2: Why Does Nexon Try To Exclude Itself From Being Endearing?

As it launched the first expansion called Skybound and inaugurate another battlefield hovering over the sky, MapleStory 2, the sequel of widely praised MapleStory, was announcing and celebrating its two-month-release gala with the Maplers that have been supporting and caring for the game. It's not been so smooth on the path of running MapleStory 2 as Nexon expected since its premiere on October 10. Compared to its predecessor MapleStory as a worldwide megahit back in the 2000s, MapleStory 2 is now confronting the ever-decreasing concurrent players, as well as loss of tremendous nostalgic fanbase. Admittedly, MapleStory 2 had a good run in the very beginning though as its highlights and creativity were rapidly strangled with several chronic diseases sprawling all over the game afterward, such as Meso seller, UGC theft, the absurd level of RNG and correlative complaints... The game now has so many calamities to be dealt with that even if some new contents with intentionally headline...

MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th...
