RuneScape is reviewing its Security Measures deployed for protecting the majority of legitimate players against hijacking. Reportedly, more than 60% of RuneScape Players haven't been so convinced of the overrated efficacy of the game Security Barrier and at least 30% of players have been hijacked or scammed once in the game before. Security Measures wasn't the only character in the show. RuneScape was announced to plan on issuing a batch of corrections and improvements on Account Recovery, Account Security, Customer Support, Anti-cheating, Toxicity in the game and many other issues that concern Players' experiences mostly. The official blog post described this project as a "significant work", which requires much more time and technology to tackle because of some legacy issues and its "no-quick-fix" policy.
