A few days ago, Playground Games, the developer of Forza Horizon 4,  has removed "Carlton" and "Floss" dances from this prestigious open-world racing game. The studio released an update earlier today that contains a batch of improvements and new contents. But this patch would also be a quick fix that manages to help the developer Playground Games and its parent firm & the game's publisher Microsoft Studios get rid of an upcoming lawsuit by removing the Carlton, and Floss dance emotes that in-game characters were able to perform previously between races.  Hip Hop artist 2 Milly sued Fortnite developer Epic Games in December 2018 for cribbing original dance moves from him. Nearly 400  Fortnite  players game together at Paris Games Week to help Epic Games set a Guinness World Record for Most Participants in a Video Game Emote Routine. An annual event that started recently and is currently underway, Paris Games Week brought tons of video game fans and developers to France for the 5-day game show. Epic Games brought  Fortnite  to the event as well with tons of attendees dressing up as the Cuddle Team Leader outfit that’s found in-game before following along with the stage presenters in an emote routine. Battle Royale is coming to your backyard. Epic Games is teaming up with toymaker Nerf to bring the guns of Fortnite into the real world. On Instagram, the official Nerf account posted an image reading “Fortnite X Nerf” and added, “Who’s ready to add some gold to their loadout?” The partnership raises the question about which of Fortnite’s guns, rockets launchers and other weapons are suitable for the Nerf blaster treatment. While Fortnite has a cartoonish style that downplays violence, many of its guns are modelled after real-world weapons. The game’s more toylike weapons, like the tactical shotgun, guided missile and Grappler, feel much more Nerf-appropriate. When Epic Games launched Fortnite last summer, it only included the paid-for, narrative game mode, Fortnite Save The World. While more than one million players were willing to pay for it around launch time, Epic Games had planned to open it to everyone by making it free to play sometime in 2018. Unfortunately for those hoping to play Fortnite Save The World without spending a dime, Epic Games has now announced that it is pushing back the proposed free to play changeover. For months, Sony had been the lone holdout when it came to allowing cross-play in Fortnite, but the company finally relented earlier this week and kicked off an "extended cross-play beta" for the hit battle royale game. If you've already made multiple Fortnite accounts in order to play on different consoles, Epic has now rolled out a tool that allows you to link all of your consoles to a single Epic Account. First, the developer stresses that the following process will not transfer your existing purchases and progression from your account; rather, it will allow any  future  progression and purchases you make to carry across platforms. T uesday is normally the day when Epic Games releases the latest patch for  Fortnite: Battle Royale , but that’s not the case for this week. The developer will delay the next update along with the release of the next set of Weekly Challenges. News of the delay came from the official  Fortnite  Twitter account on Monday. A tweet said patch v5.30 will release on Thursday, August 23, rather than the regularly scheduled Tuesday release. With the delay to Thursday, this also means the Week 7 Challenges will go live on Friday, a practice the developer put into place to make sure the update is in working order before the challenges are live since some of the tasks are dependent on what was added in the update.
