We are midway through week 2 of Fortnite season 6, meaning that most people are still working their way toward the best prizes of the battle pass at higher tiers. I do think this is one of the best battle passes I’ve seen in the game so far, as I like every skin in it (minus Giddy Up), and so you’re going to want to complete all the challenges every week. And you’re also going to want to do so because on week 7, you’ll be able to grab whatever the exclusive Hunting Party legendary skin is if you’ve done every challenge up to that point.
Fortunately for you, week 2 here is really easy. Here are the challenges:
Free
- Visit all of the Corrupted Areas (0/7)
- Use a Shadow Stone in different matches (0/3)
- Stage 1: Deal damage with standard Assault Rifles to opponents (HARD) (0/200)
Battle Pass
- Eliminate an opponent from at least 50M away (0/1)
- Deal damage with pistols to opponents (0/500)
- SMG eliminations (HARD) (0/3)
- Stage 1: Deal damage with Hunting Rifles to opponents (0/200)
The first two free challenges are essentially a two for one because when you visit the corrupted areas on the map (also very clearly marked on the map, making finding them a breeze), guess what else is there? Shadow Stones, so all you have to do is pop one in three different matches when you visit 3 of the 7 different corrupted areas.
Everything else? That can all be summed up as “do damage with weapons.” Boring, but ultimately pretty easy. The multi-stage quests will walk you through doing damage with different weapons, and I have no idea why there are two of these this week. After that, you need pistol damage, SMG kills (wow so hard) and then what could be the most difficult challenge, eliminating an opponent for 50M away.
Sniping is obviously your best bet there, and yet for many players, you may want to rely on scoped ARs instead, if sniping is not your strong suit. It shouldn’t be that tough to get a 50M kill. Just plant yourself on high ground and pick off people fleeing from the storm.
Once you complete all of these (very boring) challenges this week, don’t forget about your secret loading screen treasure. No, it’s not a free battle pass tier this week, unfortunately, but it is a rather cool banner.
Hidden in the loading screen is the indication that you need to visit the Old West wagon north of Paradise Palms to get your werewolf’s head banner, which is definitely one of the coolest ones I’ve seen. Go here to read more about that process, as I already wrote an article about it previously.
Past this, one more thing I’d suggest you do is visit the house on top of the floating Cube island. Every time it hits a new rune, “Cube corruption” is growing inside the house, and it’s pretty cool to see. Check it out for yourself.
