Microsoft Shows Off Project XCloud By Playing Forza Horizon 4 On Phone

Microsoft gave us a live demonstration of its Project xCloud game streaming service Tuesday, showing Forza Horizon 4 being played on an Android phone.

Conveniently, the Inside Xbox video came a week before Google is expected to reveal its game-streaming service at Game Developers Conference (GDC) and days after Sony brought PS4 Remote Play to iPhone and iPad.

Microsoft's video shows Kareem Choudhry, Microsoft's corporate vice president of cloud gaming, letting presenter Julia Hardy play the open world racing game as it's streamed to a phone, using an Xbox One controller connected via Bluetooth.

"We're developing Project xCloud not as a replacement for game consoles, but as a way to provide the same choice and versatility that lovers of music and video enjoy today," Choudhry wrote in an accompanying blog post. "We're adding more ways to play Xbox games."

So don't go trading in your Xbox One just yet.

Forza Horizon 4 only hit Xbox One and PC last October, so it's visually impressive and appears to run smoothly on a phone. We'd have to play it for ourselves to check for input lag (where a game doesn't respond instantly to our button presses) and see how the visuals hold up out in the real world.

Choudhry noted that Microsoft is on track to have gamers help it test Project xCloud "in real-world scenarios" later in the year.

As always, there is a chance we will get a few other surprise cars in the mix too. After all, the seasonal events should still give out rewards. Also, the Forzathon Shop will continue to get its weekly refresh as well and could bring with it some exclusive vehicles. All Forza Horizon 4 Credits remain the functionality of purchasing cars, cosmetics, and other accessories, we'll let you know if there is any updates or improvements on that.

MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
