RuneScape Player Support Improvements: Better Late Than Never

Image result for runescape customer support

RuneScape is reviewing its Security Measures deployed for protecting the majority of legitimate players against hijacking. Reportedly, more than 60% of RuneScape Players haven't been so convinced of the overrated efficacy of the game Security Barrier and at least 30% of players have been hijacked or scammed once in the game before.

Security Measures wasn't the only character in the show. RuneScape was announced to plan on issuing a batch of corrections and improvements on Account Recovery, Account Security, Customer Support, Anti-cheating, Toxicity in the game and many other issues that concern Players' experiences mostly. The official blog post described this project as a "significant work", which requires much more time and technology to tackle because of some legacy issues and its "no-quick-fix" policy.

It's been a very long time since the first group of rantings towards gimcrack RuneScape Security was laid out on social media. Many doubted and accused of the effect of RuneScape Security Measures in the game where it was fighting against cheaters and hackers all the time. According to RuneScape's story from the post, we might understand why the game developers have been overlooking these issues for so long until it became too vital to be ignored - Bespoke System, easy to acquire, hard to twist.

In-game Security is a systematic engineering that requires high-end anti-hijacking technology and intrusion alert mechanics and so on. Apparently, account recovery, including reclaiming all the RS Golds, Items, costumes, skills, and any other properties is one of the most crucial Security measures that should be taken seriously and perfected at no time.

So the best guess is that RuneScape will be establishing a home-made Customer Support system to gradually supersede their outdated present system, eventually, works out well for players' retention. To be honest, although it sounds a bit unrealistic, the game will do so much better than now if the developers take over all Security supervision work and tweak the Customer Support mechanics accordingly.

In the post, developers made a commitment to bring off the major improvements on Customer Support and Security in this year while there will still be some leftovers acquiring more time to delve into from the late of this year. Full disclosure of any details on this matter will be exposed completely through the official website and its social media network during this period.

Alongside the way of pursuing a better version of the game's Player Support, RuneScape also promised to survey all players' perspectives on Customer Support by any means necessary and prioritize the tasks accordingly.

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
