MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.

Forza Horizon 4 Update 8 Bringing Important Multiplayer Changes

The next content update for Forza Horizon 4 has been detailed by its developer, Playground Games, and the big attention point is the multiplayer aspect of the game. Besides an all-new game mode to enjoy, there will be fixes to the existing experience which will make a pretty important improvement to everyone's online fun. Update 8 is being known as the Drift Adventure update, in honour of the new multiplayer game mode being added. Drift Adventure is the first multiplayer mode in Forza Horizon 4 dedicated entirely to the art of going sideways, as you compete against other players in pursuit of the best single lap drift score. In conjunction with this a new drift camera view is being added — a similar one has recently made it into Forza Motorsport 7 — that angles the camera to better work with the additional sideways motions of drifting. Beyond Drift Adventure, Playground has also been listening to community feedback and some pretty stellar changes are coming to the existing o

The Best British Game Award In BAFTA Goes To Forza Horizon 4

Playground Games has added another achievement to its trophy case. Last night at the annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards, it picked up the win for Best British Game for Forza Horizon 4. The win comes on the back of previous accolades for the open-world racer. It wrapped up 2018 with a win at the Game Awards and followed up in February of this year at the DICE Awards. Both of those were for sports and racing games though, whereas last night’s win was a more general category. The British Game of the Year competition included titles made by — you guessed it — British studios. The list of nominees included some heavy hitters: 11:11 Memories Retold Forza Horizon 4 Red Dead Redemption 2 The Room: Old Sins Overcooked 2 Two Point Hospital Studio head Ralph Fulton was on hand to claim the award on behalf of the Leamington Spa-based team, posting a behind-the-scenes shot on Twitter: So this just happened pic.twitter.com/VaVnHsqRGH — Ralph Fulton

MLB The Show 19 Headliners Packs: Diamond Mark Prior, Joe Torre Cards Now Available

Baseball season is officially underway in the major leagues and for MLB The Show 19 gamers. As opening day recently got going, the baseball video game is beginning to roll out special events, challenges, and player cards. We got our first MLB The Show 19 Headliners Packs in the game with Diamond cards for All-Star players Mark Prior and Joe Torre. MLB The Show 19 Headliners: All-Star Flashback Mark Prior Mark Prior’s star burned out way too early. The hard-throwing right-hander made a huge impact in his five-year career, especially in 2003. Prior owned the National League for a glimmering moment and had the look of a player that would be around for 10 years or more. Unfortunately, arm problems cut Prior’s career short. Nevertheless, he still had a great career, albeit a short one. In 2003, Prior finished 18-6 with a 2.43 ERA. He struck out 245 batters and was named to the NL All-Star team that season. Those numbers alone earned Prior a card rating of 90. MLB The Show 19 Headl

MapleStory Merch Store Is Open For Business: See What Kind OF Goods Nexon Are Selling Now

Nexon just opened up a small online shop for Maplers who'd like to invest a big load of money on Maple-themed toys in the real world the same as they did in the game. The small booth is called MapleStory Merch Store. As far as we know, this store is sort of a front of the Nexon Store where some more products and services are still in development and their putaway is around the corner. This MapleStory Merch Store features nothing but T-shirts, plushies, and tumblers. All of them are unexceptionally branded with all sorts of Maple World NPC figures or other typical symbols respectively. By a rough calculation, The store shelf doesn't hold no more than 12 different kinds of products.  This little online shop is a veritable booth, theatrically, founded by a big company like Nexon. Although it was probably coming out as a marketing strategy, Nexon also stressed that all the first-launched merchandises are of limited quantities. The post implies these adorable fluffy

Madden 19 Path To The Draft: New Cam Newton LTD, House Rules In Ultimate Team

The Madden 19 Path to the Draft promotion moves on! We’re now into April, with the NFL Draft just weeks away. When that goes down, NFL teams will look to upgrade their team rosters. Meanwhile, in Madden Ultimate Team mode, gamers are doing the same with the various Path to the Draft cards or events. Among the latest arrivals for the promotion are a sweet Cam Newton LTD card and some brand new house rules to play with. Madden 19 Path to the Draft Cam Newton LTD Card When Madden’s Path to the Draft event launched, gamers knew it would bring some of the top stars in the game with it. The Carolina Panthers made Cam Newton their No. 1 NFL draft choice what feels like many seasons ago. It was 2011, and since then, he’s led the team to several playoff appearances and to the Super Bowl. In addition to that and three Pro Bowl selections, Cam also captured the 2015 NFL MVP Award based on his outstanding season then. It makes perfect sense that he’d be amongst the latest 99 OVR LTD

Path Of Exile 3.6.3b Update: Synthesis Nonstop Problematic Mechanics Won't Be Holding Up Anymore?

Path of Exile is releasing the 3.6.3b patch to fix the partial remains of glitches and exploits in the latest iteration Synthesis League and other content. Reportedly, this is the fourth patch has been deployed since the release of Synthesis league.  Most of this patch, according to the patch notes on the official website, is to address the issues that have been haunting on Synthesis league all the time. It also includes some other content of fixing the miscellaneous bugs deep within the game. Nevertheless, the centerpiece of this patch is the Synthesis part, nothing more.  "Essence and Fossils can be used on Fractured Items" literally tops the list of the highlights from the synthesis part of this patch. Since there have been advocacies of patching up "Essence and Fossils" issues on the very next day of Synthesis league debut. I would think it's fair enough to say this issue was becoming the most concerned pain point and it's rather advisable to addr

Respawn Is “Disappointed” That Apex Legends Fans Aren’t As Horny As Overwatch’s

Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella has delivered a stinging rebuke to fans of Apex Legends, saying that he “expected more porn by now.” With both games featuring a strong character-driven roster of heroes, the comparisons between Apex Legends and Overwatch have been raised ever since Respawn’s new game first launched. However, according to Zampella, one major difference is that Overwatch fans are “insatiably horny.” “Our audience has delivered in nearly every way,” Zampella said. “They’re dedicated. They’re intelligent. They’re giving us great feedback. I just wish they would hurry up and draw Lifeline and Mirage doing it, or something. “The Overwatch community is crazy horny. Just so, incredibly horny. All I’m saying is that it would make all of us here at Respawn feel appreciated if we could see some fan art of Pathfinder railing another Pathfinder on a couch.” After a brief, uncomfortable pause, he added: “Just brainstorming here…” It’s no secret that Overwatch has ma

A New Title Called "Path of Warframe" Is Emerged From The Darkness On April 1st

Path of Exile is holding an April Fool's event today while some players subjectively presumed it was going to be a Game-coming-to-mobile-devices prankish news broadcast before. However, it turns out to be a different-genres-blended-together joking fest.  It all started with the imaginary game expansion called "Path of Warframe: The Quest for the average neck" - which according to the news anchor "Rebekah" Bex, is one of all expansions from a first-person top-down Action RPG hack-n-shooter genre. Not only sounds the goofy name hilarious and quite intriguing, but it also rolls in the aisles when Bex explains in a funny way. What is this so-called "merged-from-two-games-from-different-genres crossover" for? what is the content this expansion showing up for? Bex explained that the game has a complex gameplay mechanic that doesn't nothing but reward the players with loots, items, treasure, currency(like POE Orbs ), and microtransactions. And the

MLB The Show 19: Road To The Show Continues To Improve

MLB The Show 19 was released on Tuesday and with it comes a new and improved Road to the Show game experience that fans will surely enjoy. Ahh, Spring is in the air, and you know what that means; baseball season. More importantly, that means that the latest installment of Sony’s baseball gaming franchise, MLB The Show 19, is out and ready to be played by millions of baseball fans. For a sports video game nut like myself, I have lost the enjoyment in playing baseball video games in recent years. I yearn for the days of MVP baseball where I could create my own stadiums, but this year MLB The Show has me hooked for one reason, Road to the Show. Road to the Show is the popular career mode where you create your own playable ball player and try to rise to the Major League’s and become a star. Right from the start, you can notice a difference. While creating your player you are in your bedroom. When you pick your nationality, you see your country’s flag hanging above your bed. When you pick y

Free Armour Trimming: The Communist Revolution Inside Runescape

RuneScape was once declared the world’s largest multiplayer online game. Millions of people were entranced by its blocky graphics and repetitive gameplay. Like many young people in the early noughties, I was naively drawn in by RuneScape’s promise that hard work, industrious labour, and a lava battle staff would allow me to earn enjoyment and success. Capitalism, too, has promised the workers of the world that faithfulness to our employers is the path to contentment. Yet the relation of exploitation between the capitalist and working classes has led the proletariat into open revolt against our rulers over and over again. RuneScape, like capitalism, has repeatedly entered into periods of crisis in which the people have demanded change. And as I learned today while procrastinating, in RuneScape just as in capitalism, the people have turned to communism to build a new world. An ancient fan wiki revealed to me the lost history of class struggle in RuneScape, and now I bring it to the world

A Fix Is Coming For Forza Horizon 4’s Festival Playlist — But Is It Enough?

We are not fans of Forza Horizon 4’s Festival Playlist, introduced in Series 7. However, after a backlash from the community, it looks like Playground Games is exploring a patch to make it more palatable. The question remains though, is it enough to fix it? According to the Forza Week in Review for March 22, the new patch will lower the 100% completion reward to just 80%. Sounds great right? Well, it still poses a problem and continues to force players to play the way PG wants you to play. In order to get an 80% completion, you still need to participate in multiplayer events. This means you’re still relying on other people in order to complete the events. The Luck of the Random Teammate Draw For example, let’s look at the Trial. For the Autumn Season, players need to team up and beat another team of Drivatars on the unbeatable difficulty. You also need to turn up in an S2 998 class hypercar, which adds to the challenge just a bit. In theory, completing this event seems like someth

MapleStory 2 Accessory Socket Improvement Plan Is Now Underway

As most of the Maplers might have known about, MapleStory 2 was officially rolling out Mar. 28th update and already deployed into the game. The so-called Mar. 28th update features 3 diverse main aspects, including the establishment of the MapleStory 2 Mesos Market, an escalation of Epic Pet drop rate and fixes of Meso Sink Reduction issue. Although it was made clear in the last announcement that this update would be merely a prelude to the massive subsequent fix-ups, still, many praised for the improvements the update have brought along after an immersive experience of the new game.  In the meantime, MapleStory 2 is still sticking to the Project New Leaf, which has been inaugurated for an overhaul to the game inside out, and ready to surmount another obstacle ahead of it - Accessory Socket.  Earlier today, In the official announcement, MapleStory 2 pledged to release another update concerned with Progression Improvement in the next month, as well as expanded on the specifics of th

Toronto FC Pro Gamer Suspended For Violating Soccer Game's Code Of Conduct

Phil Balke, the first pro gamer hired by Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, has been suspended for the remainder of the FIFA 19 competitive season for violations of the soccer video game's rules and code of conduct. Balke, a Toronto native, represents Toronto FC in MLS esports competitions. "MLSE takes the rules and regulations governing our partner leagues seriously and competitive FIFA is no exception," MLSE said in a brief statement. "We will be further evaluating the situation with Major League Soccer and will provide additional comment at an appropriate time." Balke, who was 23 when hired by MLSE in February 2018, issued an apology via social media. "I apologize to everyone who supported me this season and deeply regret my actions," he wrote. "This mistake does not define my career and I will grow from this and will be back next year having learned from my mistake." Balke apparently fell afoul of publisher EA Sports' rules gov

A Statement From Final Fantasy XIV Online Director Implies A Possible Extension Of The Game Platform Ports

The discussion of new potential console ports for Final Fantasy XIV is brought up in the latest talk with the game director Naoki Yoshida. Nintendo and Xbox may be the next havens for Final Fantasy XIV Online . Discussions are still in the works even though hinted. There is a possibility that Final Fantasy XIV Online may extend its compatible platform into Nintendo and Xbox someday in the near feature. In an interview with FFXIV game director Naoki Yoshida by Gamespot, it was made clear that discussion with Microsoft, Nintendo, and Google are currently in progress.  In a previous interview, the game director also stressed that cross-platform play is needed for the unity of Final Fantasy player bases and the offer of the best experience. The game only with PS4 and PC needs to be past history. With Sony and Nintendo starting to allow cross-play with competing platforms for games like Fortnite and Rocket League , there is a higher possibility for Final Fantasy XIV to

MapleStory 2 Giveaways: Valentine's Poll Finally Choose A Winner

MapleStory 2 is now celebrating the final result of a poll which was held back in Valentine's day just to pick up the most popular NPC in the game, as well as rewarding the participants in this poll with some giveaways that won't be dispatched until the Mar. 28th update. The Valentine's poll, which was originally one of the last sections of the so-called "Decadent Delivery Event", is designed to collect the data of which Maple World denizen is most lovable in the game and then sort all six candidates and choose the winner by votes.  Maplers even get rewards at the start of this event simply by giving you hand-made chocolates to the favorite candidate of yours. Of course, crafting your own chocolates and sending them as a vote is actually part of the task too. If you complete your vote, you will be rewarded with five more Valentine's exclusive chocolates plus some other bonus on a daily basis.  I am thrilled to tell you that the vote has now officiall

Guide: How To Steal A Base In MLB The Show 19

The steal in baseball is one of the most thrilling actions. It usually comes out all of a sudden and catches someone off guard, and always issues in someone getting upset on one of the sides of the ball. Here’s how to steal in MLB the Show 19. We'll delve a little more into RTTS's version of the steal than all of the other game modes due to its distinct peculiarity, assuming you are not controlling an individual character in the game. Base Running in MLB The Show 19 can be a bit convoluted due to loads of buttons to press and many things that are going on, whether you are playing RTTS, the new Moments, Diamond Dynasty, or what else modes. Getting a steal or any other baserunning move in a jam can be extremely dispiriting since it can result in unnecessary outs that are just killer when you're striking against pitching that's hard to score off of, especially online.  Stealing Normally in MLB The Show 19 If you're in full control of all the players f

Path Of Exile PlayStation 4 Pre-Release Q&A: Your Concerns Are All Covered

Here, we'all thrilled to be informed that Path of Exile and its latest 3.6.0 expansion will come out on PlayStation 4 in a couple of hours. As the official post mentioned before and the latest update provides, the PS4 version of Path of Exile will go live on March 26th and showcase for American regions first at 8 am while Europea will have its premiere at midnight later.  Allegedly, Path of Exile on PS4 will be only available for players in American and European regions. As for Asia, Russia, Australia, and some other regions, it won't show up and be purchasable until developers work that out someday.  About one day ago, Path of Exile official website released a post about answering all sorts of questions related to this PS4 roll-out. Based on what we gathered from this post, a number of avid players who happen to possess both PC and a PS4 console wouldn't be exhilarated by the information from this post that openly declared the cross-platform account connectivity, p

Final Fantasy XIV Online Shadowbringers: New Race, Job, Raid, Trailer, Screens, And More Revealed At Fan Fest

Square Enix kicked off the 2019 Fan Fest in Tokyo with a stunning new trailer and lots more details for the PS4 and PC game's next expansion. The 2019 Final Fantasy Fan Fest in Tokyo began today with a keynote address from game director Naoki Yoshida, and the 90-minute briefing was packed with news and insight on the new Shadowbringers expansion for Final Fantasy XIV coming out later this year. Perhaps the biggest news was the announcement of a new Job. The new Job is Dancer. As the name suggests, Dancer uses dance moves, in a way, to combat their enemies. Performing dances executes certain abilities, while some specific dances buff nearby party members. Dancer is a ranged DPS Job, and its main arm is used for throwing weapons. It has no associated class, according to Square Enix, and you'll be able to start using Dancer at level 60. Another huge announcement was the next playable race for Final Fantasy XIV--the Hrothgar. Cat-like humanoids, the Hrothgar will be avai

MapleStory 2 Dungeon Delight Event: Newcomers-friendly Is Not The Only Pursuit

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf has recently extended the longevity of a band-aid solution to current Progression issues, which would be replaced by the Progression Improvement update in the next month, according to the latest post issued on the official website.  As is well known for all Maplers, the Progression Mechanics in MapleStory 2 has been drowning in the mire of unfairness and suppression for a very long time. For the majority of players whose progressions are way below the ones from the apex of the pyramid, all progression mechanics and other correlatives this game has now almost backfired and did more harm than good to bridge the gap between low-level players and high-level ones. Even the FairFight system, which basically nerfs players' damages towards dungeon bosses up to a certain point, has devoted nothing to the redemption of the wide disparity between these two classes.  The band-aid solution called Dungeon Delight event was initially announced at the official

Path of Exile Is Coming To Korea In Later 2019

According to an official post published earlier on Mar 20th, Grinding Gear Games in cooperation with a South Korea game company Kakao Games would bring Path of Exile to Korea. Now the building of a Korean version is in the phase of forging a new gateway of the main Path of Exile realm. Soon, it will be moving to finishing touches. This Korean Version would be the third Asia version of Path of Exile following Southeast Version agented by Garena from 2014, and Chinese Version agented by Tencent from 2016. By convention, we would presume that Kakao Games will run Korean Version for GGG and becomes the only agent of this game. However, when it comes to the other roles that Kakao Games possibly plays, for instance, developing and updating the game as requested, we can't be sure enough to draw a conclusion on that.  It is, however, a big surprise for all Korean players rooted for this game for years. With a Korean version of Path of Exile built, The barrier to reading, communicat

RuneScape Player Support Improvements: Better Late Than Never

RuneScape is reviewing its Security Measures deployed for protecting the majority of legitimate players against hijacking. Reportedly, more than 60% of RuneScape Players haven't been so convinced of the overrated efficacy of the game Security Barrier and at least 30% of players have been hijacked or scammed once in the game before.  Security Measures wasn't the only character in the show. RuneScape was announced to plan on issuing a batch of corrections and improvements on Account Recovery, Account Security, Customer Support, Anti-cheating, Toxicity in the game and many other issues that concern Players' experiences mostly. The official blog post described this project as a "significant work", which requires much more time and technology to tackle because of some legacy issues and its "no-quick-fix" policy. It's been a very long time since the first group of rantings towards gimcrack RuneScape Security was laid out on social media. Many doubte
