MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.

Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos' issues.

Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of the market.

It's almost a common sense for all players with different levels and diversified equipment in MapleStory 2 that stay away from the Peachy's enchants option even if you're desperately or financially sound to give a shot out there. As a matter of fact, most of the players are better off digging deep in their pockets at Ophelia's for a few rewards in the game otherwise they have to pay out a fortune they may not have in the first place to Peachy's and that probably bring them to ruin. So to revise and correct this imbalanced situation, the game's developers decided to "change Peachy's enchants to require similar amounts and types of resources on average when compared to Ophelia's enchantment attempts".

Here are the two charts for the specifics of all degrees of costs in Peachy's enchants. As a reminder, the first one is the current ongoing system and the second one is the future revamped upgraded version.

As cited from the post's statement, "Above is the before-and-after required resource charts for Lv.50 Legendary Main hand / Two-handed Weapon as a sample. This change will occur for all weapons and armor with the same idea in mind. What this means is that you can now safely use Peachy to build up and guarantee your enchantments, without spending much more than Ophelia would normally cost you".

Another major add-on alongside this Peachy's enchant revamp is the 64-bit client, which would be a great help to the players with 64-bit Operating System PCs. Also, this compatibility affair is scheduled to be implanted into the game gradually. And the 32-bit client won't be embargoed even if the 64-bit becomes available.

MapleStory 2: Why Does Nexon Try To Exclude Itself From Being Endearing?

As it launched the first expansion called Skybound and inaugurate another battlefield hovering over the sky, MapleStory 2, the sequel of widely praised MapleStory, was announcing and celebrating its two-month-release gala with the Maplers that have been supporting and caring for the game. It's not been so smooth on the path of running MapleStory 2 as Nexon expected since its premiere on October 10. Compared to its predecessor MapleStory as a worldwide megahit back in the 2000s, MapleStory 2 is now confronting the ever-decreasing concurrent players, as well as loss of tremendous nostalgic fanbase. Admittedly, MapleStory 2 had a good run in the very beginning though as its highlights and creativity were rapidly strangled with several chronic diseases sprawling all over the game afterward, such as Meso seller, UGC theft, the absurd level of RNG and correlative complaints... The game now has so many calamities to be dealt with that even if some new contents with intentionally headline...
