MLB The Show 19 Headliners Packs: Diamond Mark Prior, Joe Torre Cards Now Available

Baseball season is officially underway in the major leagues and for MLB The Show 19 gamers. As opening day recently got going, the baseball video game is beginning to roll out special events, challenges, and player cards. We got our first MLB The Show 19 Headliners Packs in the game with Diamond cards for All-Star players Mark Prior and Joe Torre.

MLB The Show 19 Headliners: All-Star Flashback Mark Prior

Mark Prior’s star burned out way too early. The hard-throwing right-hander made a huge impact in his five-year career, especially in 2003. Prior owned the National League for a glimmering moment and had the look of a player that would be around for 10 years or more. Unfortunately, arm problems cut Prior’s career short.

Nevertheless, he still had a great career, albeit a short one.

In 2003, Prior finished 18-6 with a 2.43 ERA. He struck out 245 batters and was named to the NL All-Star team that season. Those numbers alone earned Prior a card rating of 90.

MLB The Show 19 Headliners: All-Star Legend Joe Torre

For fans and gamers alike, especially under 40, Joe Torre may be just thought of as a successful manager. While Torre did have great success as the skipper of the New York Yankees, he was also one of the best power hitters of his time.

Torre’s Diamond card is from 1966, a year where he put up some incredible numbers.

Torre smashed 36 home runs, drove in 101 and finished with a .315 average. Those numbers are great for a player during any generation in the big leagues. What is even more impressive, in 1971 Torre drove in 137 RBI and finished the year with a .363 average. Torre’s 1966 card on MLB The Show is rated at a solid 93.

Headliners packs are available in The Show Shop. They’ll cost 7,500 MLB 19 Stubs each and include one guaranteed Silver player and three other player items. They also hold a chance at the two Diamond cards mentioned above.

The odds of obtaining Headliners packs aren’t too bad according to MLB The Show. Just remember, the better you do at the game, the quicker you earn rewards!

  • 1:3 Gold or better Player Item
  • 1:1 Silver or better player item

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
