Apex Legends Player Discovered An Ingenious New Method To Use Lifeline's Revive Shield

While the Lifeline is already one of the more oft-used Legends in Apex Legends, there may now be yet another reason to pick it above the rest.

One of the Lifeline's numerous unique traits is the ability to project a defensive shield whenever reviving a downed teammate.

The shield protects both the Lifeline and the downed player throughout the whole revival process, which can be very important considering the chance that dangerous enemies may be lurking nearby.

Aside from this main and obvious use for the revive shield, one Apex Legends player has figured out that there is another, and more strategic, way to use this ability.

Playing as the Lifeline, Reddit user 'TerrorByte' and his teammate landed in a battle zone and swiftly encountered with an enemy Gibraltar, who had already been armed.

This Gibraltar knocked down the teammate in a few seconds and moved to do the same to the Lifeline, at which point the player cleverly began to switch between starting and stopping the revival of the teammate as a way to activate the revive shield and keep it between them and the enemy.

No matter what This Gibraltar tried, he could not get a clean shot at the two players, which bought enough time for the third member of their team to come and save them.

Although it worked perfectly in that situation, the course of action is certainly not infallible. As several users pointed out in the comments section of the Reddit post, Gibraltar could and should have simply walked through the shield and then fired at the Lifeline from point-blank range.

However, in the heat of the moment, many players may not have that thought process, and it's in those situations where this method will work beautifully to buy time for the third teammate to come and help.

Apex Legends just hit 50 million players at 28th days from release and it also creates tremendous urges for microtransactions, like Apex Coins, costumes, weapons, and new skins. It may be the perfect time to witness another rage for this battle royale genre successor.

MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
