Runescape Mobile Data Usage: How Much Data Is Used On A Phone

RuneScape Old School Data

Old School RuneScape for mobile has been up and running since the 30th of October. Ever since then, people have been playing to their hearts content no matter where they are. Which means yes, even during their working hours. Not that I’d know anything about that… Regardless, the question of RuneScape mobile data usage has been brought up.

As any mobile user will know, sometimes you just want to lighten up and play your favorite game, mobile data be damned. Unfortunately, in some cases that will lead into racking up quite the bill. While it is RuneScape and is arguably worth it, you don’t want to spend more than you need to.

So, that leads up to a fundamental question. Just how much data does Old School RuneScape use? Will it make me regret ever installing it on my phone in the first place?

Runescape Mobile Data Usage: How Much Data is Used?

Well, regardless of what you may think, not a lot of data is used at all. Old School RuneScape Mobile isn’t actually that big of a game either, only taking up 82MB storage room in your phone
(Now its size of 115MB on App Store). Considering that apps like YouTube, Tumblr, Twitter, and even Facebook are respectively larger than that, we’d say that Jagex has cunningly added abundant contents into such a small figure.

So, with how little room the game takes up, you may not be surprised to know that data usage isn’t actually that much of an issue. In fact, Jagex has stated in an updated blog post that their ‘most recent tests have found that Old School Mobile currently uses, on average, 500kb to 2MB of data per hour of full gameplay.’ That really is something, especially since the average contract phone can offer up to 8GB of free data.

I guess it’s as they say: you really can’t have too much of a good thing.

Have you suffered enough from lousy equipment and limited resources in Runescape that negligibly small to help you thrive in all competitions? MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
