Path Of Exile: Betrayal Brand Skills Reveal: Armageddon - Walking With The Apocalyptic Flame

Yesterday, devs from GGG(Grinding Gear Games) revealed more details about upcoming mobile version Path of Exile: Betrayal in new brand skills. It's confirmed that this one is the second exposed Brand Skill, following straight after the first one called "Storm Brand". This new Brand Skill has been named as "Armageddon", which is derived from Hebrew phrase "Har Magiddo" in the Book of Revelation and is the prophesied location of a gathering of armies for a battle during the end times.

Also, along with the second Brand skill detailed, GGG devs also claimed that "some other new Brand synergies are being added" in the new game.

Here are some details about this new Brand Skill announcement from GGG:

After you place the Armageddon Brand, it will fasten onto the vicinal enemy and summon flaming meteors above them at the same time. Those flaming meteors immediately crash down and do harm to enemies in a certain area. Automatically, it triggers powerful Ignite effects. In common with other brands, it returns to an inactive state when the branded enemy succumb to it and will reattach if another enemy enters its range.

Compared to Storm Brand, Armageddon Brand has a much longer activation time, which can be altered by new Brand passives and Cast Time modifiers. On the other hand, the placement time of the latter is much shorter than the former's. So there is no problem at all when it comes to a deployment of multiple Armageddon Brands within 3 seconds.

There is also something new about a new Brand Recall skill revealed in the announcement. This Brand Recall skill is an instant cast ability that can drag all of your Brands into your location, lengthens their duration and trigger their effects immediately. That means you finally shake off the annoyance that moving forward and constantly re-casting your Brands in the game simultaneously, and the Brand Recall skill increases their damage output as you can swiftly trigger the activation delay. After being recalled, the attachment radius of all brands has been increased automatically, making it possible to attack the further enemies out of the loop.

Unlike other skill gems, Brand Recall only has 6 levels, but each level greatly increases cooldown recovery speed. This makes the skill great with modifiers that increase gem level, letting you Recall much more often.

In the announcement, it was said that plenty of new effects were being inserted into the passive tree, in the meantime, a new Keystone, a new notable for the Hierophant, new nodes spread throughout the Templar and Witch area of the passive Tree.  "These all have a variety of effects that enhance your Brand's damage, activation speed, and attachment range, as well as increasing the maximum number of brands that you can have active." So the announcement said.

There was an intriguing plot twist that is involved with the previous reveal of the Storm Brand was issued by a top participant named "DieAbolical". He posted his inquiry on the comment area saying "When did you reveal Storm Brand", which immediately drew public attention as there is no such a formal and detailed announcement about Storm Brand in the forum at all as the Armageddon Brand was. Soon, devs replied with a screenshot that has been published in the forum before as a solid proof of "the real". But it seemingly became a failing to justify itself and clear out any retained confusion, based on other viewers' reaction over the reveal. The so-called "reveal" of Storm Brand is this:

Clearly, someone did not take this as a yes and were not happy about the result. Later that day, another participant made his reply to this "announcement" as a good outlet of grievance and sarcasm. This reply went like this:

"Um, claiming the image revealed Storm Brand, you may as a good claim it revealed Armageddon Brand too.

To me, a reveal is gameplay footage of the skill being used."

Devs had to make a convincing movement towards gamers' growing bitterness and made up for their own negligence. Within the few hours after the complaint published, finally, an official footage of Storm Brand was released. You can take a look at this and get a hold of the gameplay of upcoming Path of Exile: Betrayal:

MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
