MapleStory 2 Unprecedented Self-correction: A Bit Late Yet Still Better Than Never

The bombshell that was dropped from Nexon, the developer of MapleStory franchise earlier today was rather unprecedented and infusive. After having been downplaying the pile of MapleStory 2's detrimental mechanics and its highly controversial contents and neglecting of their endangerments to its community and its fanbase, Nexon finally picked itself up again and made up its own mind to bite the bullet in order to avoid the further loss of the game's active players.

A fresh project named "New Leaf", which was created by MapleStory 2 devs and already owned a themed website page, officially go live by now. Project New Leaf is designed to address all the most-concerned and troublesome issues from MapleStory 2 that basically have haunted the game for a long period, or from the very beginning, such as RNG, Progression issues, Fairfight system, Meso Trades, and so on. Considering MapleStory 2 developers initially belittled the size of these issues and ignored most of the correlative feedback, suggestions, and rants previously, This project is absolutely a giant leap for them and a good omen for the game's prospect.

What we know now from the release announcement of this project is partially removing Fairfight System and tweaking the Trader's Ribbon is the current top priority for the developers and the project producer. Expected in March, all these improvements will be deployed into the game at once and the Economy Improvements are planned to be released straight after that. Here is the list of the upcoming improvements' unveiled contents and specifics:

MapleStory 2 Fairfight System Removal Content

  • Fairfight for Hard and Normal Adventure Dungeons will be completely removed
  • Fairfight for World Bosses will remain, however they plan on lowering the HP of World Bosses by 60%
  • Fairfight for Fortress Rumbles will remain as is

MapleStory 2 Trader's Ribbon Tweaks Content

  • We will add the following amount of Trader’s Ribbons for each Weekly Rank Reward for the  Chaos Raids where players can be rewarded with these:
    • Rank A: 14 Lv. 50 Trader’s Ribbons
  • We will add the following amount of Trader’s Ribbons for each Weekly Rank Reward for all Fortress Rumbles:
    • Rank A: 8 Lv. 50 Trader’s Ribbons
  • The amount of Trader’s Ribbons you will need to enable trading for Lv. 50 Epic or Legendary gears differs per grade and per gear type.
  • Players who are able to achieve all A Ranks from all Chaos Raids and Fortress Rumbles can get up to 96 Lv. 50 Trader’s Ribbons each week. As a result, these players will be able to trade up to 2 Lv. 50 Epic weapons or 1 Legendary weapon per week.
Those changes will appear in the game in the March update. Although it's still got almost one month to be formally conducted,  the initiative correction Nexon planned on issuing is still advisable and desirable as the old saying says " Better than never ".

As Nexon willingly goes along the fix-ups and manages to carry it through eventually, the whole journey would be not so easy to delve into. For instance, in the announcement, Nexon has already prioritized patching up RNG and Progression issues as the Labours of Hercules throughout the Project New Leaf. Those issues have already been put into the schedule and will be dealt with in the April update. Whatever Nexon is up to right now, we have good faith in turning MapleStory 2 around sooner or later.

If you are not satisfied enough with the amount of currencies you have been rewarded with, including Treva, Rue, Havi Fruit, Blue/Red Stars by completing all kinds of missions and quests, there is a special place for you to pay a visit and benefit from - MMOAH. It has been dedicated to the MS 2 Mesos' transactions for months since it had been released. And Prove himself as one of the cheapest product on the market when it comes to MapleStory 2 Mesos. Not only the product itself seduced thousands of players placing their orders on the website, but the service, especially the delivery of its products intrigued more and won against other companies.

MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
