Community Manager Talks About Her Experiences In Grinding Gear Games: What Is the Benefits of Being Charge Of Path OF Exile Community For 4 Years?

Bex, as the chief community manager of Path of Exile, is now embracing her fourth anniversary of landing this role in the Grinding Gear Games. Her recent interview regarding the CM career for the game has intrigued a lot of viewers and players and won tons of congratulations and gratitude. As a former house painter, a fanatic of Lord of Rings' memes, and the current community director and producer of Path of Exile, Bex shared a lot of experiences and perspectives from her work, life, and relationships with others. Here are some of the highlights we've picked up from the interview:

No matter what you think about initially, seize every opportunity and follow it through anyway

As a gleeful and self-complacent house painter with a less satisfying experience of being a short-lived Game Master (GM) for a niche game title previously, clearly, Bex wasn't really the first option for the position of being a moderator for a game community. Her initial reaction proved that when she heard the recruitment in Grinding Gear Games from one of her families. She unexpectedly thought it over and determined to might as well give it a try and see how it goes. Now she is chief leader of the game community after six years' stamina on serving and contributing.

It's hard to walk right off your own comfort zone and make a change in your own life. but it's the only way that to keep you from the future remorse if you refuse every chance to make a difference.

There is always a majority of work far down the horizon that you can barely observe

In the fourth anniversary interview, Bex unveiled that as a community manager, she has to make plans every day, balance everything and avoid being burnt out. What we can see and find out in public about her work is merely ten percent of all she has to cope with on a daily basis. She mentioned on or off her daily work in the company, the leader always keeps an eye on any trends and bombshells in the community in case of some crucial feedbacks are missed out and things get irretrievable.

Sometimes, most of what we commit and indulge is not for anyone else's pastime. All we need to know is never tear down a person's unveiled work even it doesn't reach your standard. somebody put a lot of thoughts and efforts to a meme or a joke you can't even imagine just for a 30-second laugh and approval. Respect is what we ought to prep up for when viewing someone else's performances.

You may not undo the catastrophes you caused later sometime, but it's plenty of room to avoid yourself falling into the same holes and being a better person again.

Bex revealed her being a Game Master for a niche game title, where has maximum 40,000 users and 500 concurrent players on a daily basis. She spent tons of time in the game and wound up making to the highest level of her character in the community and being promoted to be the Game Master by the game developer. Instead of soothing the hatred towards her from the other members in the community, Bex abused his power to tempt and enlarge the antagonism so that the haters involuntarily broke the rules, and then she managed to ban all of their accounts without hesitation. It was a stigma and a stain in her life that even a few years after all that, she determined to make apologies to developers, as well as all the players involved. But only find out most of them are not able to be tracked. So the remorse remains in her for the last few years and it's possible that she can't be relieved in her rest of life from all the wrongdoings she committed.

Is it a crime just talking about the experience? Absolutely not. Does it affect some others' well-being and emotions once in a while? Yes, of course. Has she learned anything from the terrible experience? Definitely. She already became the leading manager of one of the most renowned games' community and has kept the position for four years. That's a solid proof of how she turned around and became a better version of herself.

MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed "Progression Improvement Update" which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player's progression path.  Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos ' issues. Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. In most cases, the post written about Enchant Changes was talking about how to make a difference to the current Peachy's enchants, due to its being priced out of th

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Tops The App Store In Its First Week On iOS

Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG tops the App store with one million downloads following its early access launch. Announced at E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls: Blades went live on iOS and Android last week for players who had signed up for early access, and has already been downloaded by more than one million users in its first seven days, and has already made almost $500,000 in revenue. Sensor Tower reports that the game is at No.1 in the download charts, with 42% (420,000) of downloads coming from the US. US players also accounted for 76% of spending, totalling around $380,000. This data is only for iOS, so total downloads are likely to be a fair bit higher. The game is free-to-play, but contains in-app purchases to hasten player progress, including Silver Chests that hold gold and items, like equipment, supplies, and materials. The Elder Scrolls: Blades received an update this week to iron out a few kinks, with Bethesda promising further balance tweaks, specifically for the Silver Chest.
