IGN Removed its Dead Cell Video Review by suspected of plagiarism

Any journalism website will deal with the form of issue with plagiarism sooner or later for sure. Unfortunately, IGN joined the line just now. It was reported that the video review of Dead Cells published by IGN was a word-for-word copy of a Boomstick Gaming YouTube review from a week earlier, even though some minor difference existed between those two reviews.
IGN immediately removed this review after the report and announced that they are investigating this issue now.
IGN has an incontrovertible reputation in games ranking and reviews of gameplay experiences in the industry. This incident may strike IGN and forced them to take seriousness to step into the plagiarism case and avoid any kind of plagiarism happening in the future, so does the industry. Authorities in games rankings, like IGN, rely on the comprehensive and profound reviews and gameplay-based grading that acquires gamers trusts and page views. Once the plagiarism happened, it affected the people’s judgement and perspectives they had held for this site in a wrong way. However, the consequences will not be a more significant problem after IGN making a right move and even get smaller if the spotlight moved.
The following website link is a video that Gaming Boomstick detailing the similarities:
I, for one, have only one questions for the plagiarist:
Dude, why were you so lazy that wouldn’t care enough to re-organise the words that you had decided to “borrow” from the Boomstick mate? There is a word called “Paraphrase”, by replacing the target sentences or articles with a new one containing different words, structure, tenses, and it is much more helpful when you try to publish some others’ ideas and perspectives, including reviews without causing a drama itself to the public in the end.
Even it doesn’t affect the gameplay experience or any other gamer’s point of views towards the game; it will cause the wrong impression of the industry and some inevitable losses – hopefully, you can keep your job after that. Some kind of same experiences happened for most of us, I guess, at some points in our life and somewhere. Plagiarism isn’t the shameful thing – the most shameful thing is you don’t want to be discreet in the next time and get your feet wet in the same river over and over again.
